Dear Line Dance Family Friends....
First and foremost, and I am so upset that I have to make this choice today....I am CANCELLING Tonight's Thursday Beginner Class at 382. I was so looking forward to seeing you and dancing with you again. I sincerely apologize for ANY inconvenience. I truly believe that the "schlep" at Istanbul Airport (where I will NEVER go again!) to reach my connecting flight back to the USA from Venice severely set me back with my left ankle and knee issues. It was a nightmare of a trip back after such a wonderful experience on the cruise. I think it's best if I rest through the weekend so that we can resume our classes on Monday night, July 6th. I will contact you again ONLY if necessary regarding upcoming classes. I also felt that the intense heat predicted for today is another reason to cancel class. So, I will see you next week. Stay cool and have a great holiday weekend. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I will be happy to answer any line dance related questions that you may have. Just shoot me an email or a text.
Now...back to the business at hand:
In my last emailing, I informed you of my teaching schedule for this time period as I am traveling to teach in these upcoming months. (Please note that these "Updates" emailings are now posted on my website.)
I am back from an incredible line dance experience on the beautiful sea in Greece!! We were a group of 140+!!! It was a wonderful trip (even with the intense heat!) and I'm looking forward to next year's line dance cruise to the Caribbean!! Kindly let me know if you might be interested in joining us on what will prove to be a very fun experience as we cruise the beautiful Caribbean on Royal's Oasis of the Seas from May 14th-21st, 2027! FB Address for the flyer/info for this cruise is:
My local classes resume on Monday, July 6th (as I am canceling tonight's Beginner class).
Thursday Night Beginner Class is a "GO" for Thursdays, July 9th, 16th and 23rd.
Monday Night AB and Intermediate classes are a "GO" for Mondays, July 6th, 13th and 20th.
Description of classes:
The Monday Night AB at 5 PM is a 60 Minute class for Absolute Beginners. We tackle "easier" levels of choreography and work on line dance terminology, execution of steps and music interpretation. Taking the AB Class should prepare you to understand general fundamental terminology used in line dance instruction and help you move forward to the next level (Beginner) with me or with other instructors.
"Monday Nights at 382" at 6:30 PM (75 minutes) is of a higher level...more High Improver to Low Intermediate & Intermediate choreography. It is a challenging class and I am very proud of this dedicated group of dancers (along with my AB'ers and Beginners!!). Please contact me if you are interested in attending this class as your participation in this class needs to be approved by me!
"Thursday Beginner Class at 382": The Beginner level class is just that! We will dance ALL Beginner levels (AB, Beginner & Improver). The class is from 6:00-7:30 PM.
If you are new to this amazing world of line dance and need easier level classes, please feel free to contact me for possible private/semi private instruction.
The studio for Monday and Thursday nights is located at 382 Central Park West, which is ON 97th Street, BETWEEN Central Park West and Columbus Avenue. It is in the middle of the block on the NORTH side of 97th Street. Let the Concierge know that you are there for my class. He will direct you to the East elevator side of the building. Take the elevator DOWN one flight to the basement floor. Turn LEFT as you get off of the elevator and walk all the way down the hallway. The studio will be on your RIGHT and the door will be open. Please contact me for further information regarding ALL STUDIO FEES.
NEWCOMERS: We welcome you with open arms and warm hearts. Please keep in mind that these classes are ongoing. I consider each and every student and want everyone to leave class smiling,
exhausted and wanting more!! I am happy to help you to catch up by steering you in the right direction for line dance videos and "step sheets" so that you are able to take a peek and do some studying at home in order to help bring you up to speed in class.
I'd like to take the time to thank everyone for your support of my classes! The classes have been great lately with a lot of newcomers to the line dance floor. Once again, "Welcome" and best wishes to having a fun time while in class with me and the "Regulars"! As I always say...the possibilities are endless and, with your commitments and drive, we will continue to learn, grow and develop our line dance repertoire. Please feel free to contact me with any line dance related questions. Also ask if you need more info regarding locations and fees.
You are receiving this email from me because you have either attended class with me or have contacted me for line dance related information. Please and kindly...let me know if you wish to be removed from receiving these mailings from me. I am happy to edit this list. Please do not send the email to spam. If you have asked me to remove you and I have not, kindly remind me again. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. I try to not bombard you with needless info. I send out a detailed email usually every two weeks and a possible "Friendly Reminder" when there is a special event.
Warm and grateful regards,
Rona
